The design's unique properties lie in its representation of the infinite cycle, symbolized by the Mobius strip. This visual effect mirrors the endless breakthrough and enterprising spirit of Greentown Group. The design also incorporates the characteristics of the Jiangnan oil-paper umbrella, applied to the soft design of the negotiation area. The soft light color department sofa and pillow, coupled with soft leather and the silk fabric characteristic of Jiangnan, provide a sense of warmth and texture.
Spanning a total of 2000 square meters, the Qianjiang House is a modern, aesthetic life house that adds a touch of infinity to its interior and commercial design. The design team, comprising Jingru Zhu, Jiexiang Shen, and Hongcheng Lu, utilized geometric elements and radioactive lines to create a sense of future modernity in the artwork and soft outfits. The furniture is designed to be detachable and washable, reflecting the project's environmental protection idea.
The design's interaction is another unique feature. The pendant lamp spirals upward like a gymnast's ribbon, creating a vigorous and healthy sportsmanship visual effect. This design element not only aligns with the sportsmanship struggling upward but also brings public life vitality.
The project, which started in June 2018 and finished in August 2019 in Hangzhou, faced challenges in the form of strict requirements for the air purification system and accurate control of project materials. These challenges were overcome to ensure the concept of green and clean was carried through to the end. The project's research was rooted in Hangzhou's status as one of the world's six major urban agglomerations, a city with a profound cultural heritage, tradition of smart innovation, and high-tech industry development.
The Qianjiang House project was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. They are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
